MY ROLE
In India, 53.22% of children have faced sexual abuse. Often pre school teachers & parents ignore the importance of teaching the concept of ‘good touch - bad touch’ to children or use teaching methods that do not reach the children. How do we make pre schoolers understand this concept & give them the tools to report any form of abuse?

THE OUTCOME
We followed a 4 step design process - discover, define, ideate, prototype. This included a desk research, interviews with pre school teachers & parents, competitive analysis, impact effort matrix, conceptualizing with the pre school teachers & creating a fully functioning tangible prototype.
Sparsh - an educative tool that teaches pre schoolers the concept of ‘safe & unsafe touch’ through play by triggering their senses. To make our solution more relatable to children, we introduced a character - Adi. By putting Adi in different scenarios, children can entertain themselves, come up with their own stories and learn this concept.
